Greetings all,
The conference organizers have a received proposed panel abstract and
one abstract addressing the topic of "Queering Black Canadian
Studies". The conference organizers have worked diligently to reach
out to activists/researchers in the LGBTQI community. Despite this
appeal no abstracts have yet been received. Please encourage such
activist/scholars to submit abstracts in view of the extended deadline
that closes Friday March 22.
The conference organizers affirm that despite on-going challenges
involved in the full inclusion of LGBTQI folks in the African Canadian
community, this conference shall be a space and place where LGBTQI
persons are included and their voices and perspectives respected.
Though not affiliated with the BCSA conference organizers, below are
the websites for the Student Justice Centre and the Brock Pride Club:

Sincerely,
The Conference Committee
